Tickets to the Underground Art Show at The Met
On Saturday, August 29, The Met in Pawtucket is trading the traditional white-wall gallery experience for something louder, looser, and a lot more social.
The Pancakes & Booze Underground Art Show brings together more than 50 artists for one night of art, music, performance, and creative chaos. From 8 PM to midnight, visitors can wander through artwork from emerging and independent artists while musicians perform throughout the evening, all with friends, drinks, and, yes, pancakes in the mix.
There’s something refreshing about an art show that doesn’t ask you to whisper.
Pancakes & Booze has built its reputation around creating an alternative to the conventional gallery opening: a place where people can discover new artists while actually hanging out, listening to music, meeting people, and enjoying the night.
For anyone who misses the energy of underground art scenes, where artists pile into unconventional spaces, put their work on the walls, and invite everyone in—this is the kind of night worth experiencing.
Come for the artwork. Find an artist you didn’t know about before. Hear some music. Bring a few friends. Stay awhile.
