Shipping policy

Every piece that leaves the studio is packed by hand. Original paintings are wrapped, corner-protected, boxed or crated as the work requires, and insured for the full purchase price.

Rates

• Flat $65 per order anywhere in the United States, whatever the size of the work.
• Free local pickup at the studio in New Bedford.

The flat rate is what proper packing, crating, and insurance actually cost at the counter. It is not a carrier box price, and it does not scale with the size of the painting: a large canvas and a small one ship for the same $65.

Processing time

Orders are packed and dispatched within 3–5 business days. Original paintings occasionally need longer if a piece requires custom crating; we will email you if that is the case.

Local pickup

Choose Pickup at checkout and we will email you when the piece is ready, usually within 2–4 days, to arrange a time. The studio is at 127 W Rodney French Blvd, Studio S2-71B, New Bedford, MA 02744. Please email kat.knutsen@gmail.com before coming; there is not always someone in.

International orders

International shipping is not offered at checkout. If you are outside the United States and want a piece, email us and we will quote the crating and freight for your destination. Any customs duties and import taxes are yours to pay.

Tracking, delays, and damage

You will receive tracking by email when your order ships. Delivery estimates are estimates. We are not responsible for carrier delays, weather, or customs holds.

If a work arrives damaged, email kat.knutsen@gmail.com within 5 days with photographs of both the piece and its packaging, and keep all packing materials until the claim is resolved. Shipments are insured; we handle the claim.
