Commissioning a portrait or a mural

It helps enormously if you can tell me:

• who or what the piece is of
• roughly what size, and where it will hang or be painted
• any date you are working toward
• a few reference photographs, if you have them

Portrait commissions, murals and event work are all quoted individually, so nothing is booked through the shop. Tell me what you have in mind, the timeline, and the budget you are working with, and I will tell you honestly whether I am the right fit. The Commissions page walks through how a portrait works from first email to delivery.

Workshops and figure drawing

Anatomical Artistry and the figure painting sessions run at the Kilburn studio. New dates are announced on the Creative Stream, and seats are booked through the shop. Ask and I will let you know when the next block opens.

Orders and returns

If a piece arrives damaged, or you need to return something, please email before sending it back and I will tell you where it should go. Photographs of the item and its packaging help with the insurance claim.

Studio visits

By arrangement. The studio is not staffed daily, so write first and we will find a time.
