Over the last year and a half, the studio has focused on bringing lots of Figure Drawing opportunities into the city of New Bedford. As the weather begins to warm up, the studio is beginning to include outdoor events like plein air painting on the list of creative activity.
Also, check out this new amazing place called 'Sorbae' that just opened up on Purchase Street in New Bedford. Their signage was painted by Kat Knutsen Studios!

Another project on the horizon orbits around an animation team that Kat has been building for the last two years. This event is the first time her research includes building a band Long Swan newlongswan.com that plays original music, booking gigs for the band, networking within the New Bedford and Providence RI music scene, training young artists at Bristol Community College in practices around the 2D animation pipeline, building the pipeline processes, and executing a music video for Long Swan's first single called "Drive". As the project begins to unfold, there are numerous parties involved in the process.
